Adam Milstein is an Israeli-American real estate investor and philanthropist with a documented history of involvement in organizations and initiatives advocating for Israel and strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship. He is a managing partner at Hager Pacific Properties.

Milstein co-founded the Israeli-American Council (IAC) in 2007 and served as its chairman from 2015 to 2019. The IAC aims to build a community of Americans of Israeli descent and foster a strong Jewish and Israeli identity.

Through the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation, established in 2000 with his wife Gila, Milstein has funded and supported numerous organizations dedicated to pro-Israel advocacy. The foundation’s stated mission includes strengthening the State of Israel, ensuring Jewish identity, and fostering affinity for Israel among younger generations. The foundation’s philanthropic services encompass consulting, partnership development, and fundraising to support Jewish education, Jewish continuity, and pro-Israel advocacy.

Milstein has held board positions and/or provided funding to a range of pro-Israel organizations, including:

Milstein is a vocal opponent of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which he refers to as a “campaign of hate” and a “menace.” He has published opinion pieces on the subject and co-organized the inaugural Campus Maccabees summit in 2015, alongside Sheldon Adelson and Haim Saban, specifically to counter BDS groups and activities on college campuses. His foundation has also supported groups that advocate for state laws restricting contracts with companies and individuals that boycott Israel.

He has been involved in efforts to support pro-Israel student government candidates on university campuses. In 2014, Milstein donated $1,000 to UCLA Hillel, earmarked to help finance the campaigns of pro-Israel student government candidates. Emails published by student news outlets indicated Milstein solicited funds from other donors for these candidates as well.

Milstein has expressed his view that Israeli-Americans are effective advocates for the State of Israel due to their personal experience and understanding of the region. He views the Abraham Accords as a positive development for peace and stability, and encourages a pro-normalization campaign uniting Jewish-Americans and pro-Israel activists with Arab Americans and Muslims who share similar views.

An Al Jazeera report, which was not aired, named Milstein as a funder of Canary Mission, an anonymous website that “documents individuals and organizations that promote hatred of the USA, Israel and Jews on North American college campuses.” Milstein denied funding Canary Mission, stating, “Neither Adam Milstein nor the Milstein Family Foundation are funders of Canary Mission.”
