Jacob Baime is a prominent figure in pro-Israel advocacy, known for his leadership roles in organizations dedicated to strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship and fostering pro-Israel sentiment, particularly on college campuses.

Baime currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Israel on Campus Coalition (ICC), a position he has held since 2013. In this role, he leads the organization’s mission to empower and unite students in pro-Israel advocacy across U.S. college campuses. Under his guidance, the ICC operates a 24/7 National Operations Center and a polling-driven Israel Communications Center, which reflects a commitment to maintaining a continuous and robust pro-Israel presence. He also spearheads a technology-driven research initiative to enhance the coalition’s outreach and engagement strategies and promotes collaboration among stakeholders to advance shared objectives. The ICC is described as an advocacy group that provides campus services to confront antisemitism and anti-Israel activities on college campuses.

Prior to his leadership at the ICC, Baime held significant positions at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). He served as the National Field Director for AIPAC, where he managed a team of field organizers and directed strategic campus initiatives aimed at increasing AIPAC’s influence nationwide. His responsibilities included overseeing national training programs for college and high school students, a role that underscored his dedication to developing future leaders in pro-Israel advocacy. Before becoming National Field Director, Baime was an Area Director for AIPAC’s New England Region.

Baime’s career history also includes serving as a political aide to the Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts, which reportedly deepened his understanding of political strategies and contributed to his engagement in discussions on U.S.-Israel relations. He is also recognized as a Schusterman Senior Fellow, an honor that highlights his commitment to leadership excellence and understanding complex international issues concerning Israel. Additionally, Baime is involved with the Jewish National Fund – USA as a committee member, where he contributes to designing educational programs focused on promoting informed discussions and understanding of Israel’s geopolitical context.

Reports have noted Baime’s involvement in strategies to counter pro-Palestinian activism. According to a 2018 article, Jacob Baime, in his capacity as executive director of the Israel on Campus Coalition, utilized social media intelligence software to “demonize and defame Palestine activists in the U.S. and on college campuses”. The article also mentioned that Baime reportedly coordinated activities with the Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs and shared “operations and intelligence briefs”. An undercover documentary cited in various reports also featured Baime discussing efforts to “crush” pro-Palestinian or anti-Israel protesters on college campuses. The Israel on Campus Coalition has also been reported to have funded Facebook pages of non-existent student organizations in opposition to Palestinian-American poet Remi Kanazi, which Facebook later removed for violating policies against misrepresentation. The organization has been accused of collecting information on campuses and sharing it with the Israeli government and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
