Jeffrey Katzenberg, an American media proprietor and film producer, has a documented history of engagement with pro-Israel advocacy and organizations. His involvement includes political donations, public statements, and participation in events focused on Israel.

Katzenberg has been identified as an “ardent supporter of Israel”. In March 2020, he contributed $112,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), and was listed among “pro-Israel donors” to the Democratic Party.

In a 2016 interview, Katzenberg articulated a personal connection to Israel, stating that “in Jewish life, there’s a connection to your roots and to Israel, a sense of belonging and a sense of obligation”. His engagement with Israeli figures has also been noted, with reports indicating his consistent presence “when high-level Israeli dignitaries come to town”.

Beyond direct political contributions, Katzenberg’s philanthropic activities through the Marilyn and Jeffrey Katzenberg Foundation include support for “Jewish charities”. He is also a frequent contributor to organizations such as the Simon Wiesenthal Center and the Anti-Defamation League.

In June 2023, Katzenberg participated in the “Silicon Valley Comes to Tel Aviv Summit” in Tel Aviv. The event aimed to foster connections between Israeli technology companies, investment funds, and figures from Silicon Valley.
